Tree planting actions continue in the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World".

The next tree-planting action in the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" was jointly organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and "Azerbaijan Airlines" Closed Joint Stock Company in Mushfigabad settlement of Baku.

During the campaign, more than 600 Eldar pines and olive trees suitable for the soil and climate conditions of the Absheron peninsula were planted on 1 hectare of land.

The purpose of tree planting actions is to draw the public's attention to the health of the environment, to restore and increase greenery, to encourage citizens to plant trees, to contribute to the protection of the environment and the fight against climate change.
