A tree-planting action was held in Baku's Mushfigabad settlement under the joint organization of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, YAP Yasamal District Organization and Yasamal District Executive Authority.
During the action held within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World", with the participation of the officials and employees of the said institutions, Eldar pine and olive trees suitable for the soil and climate conditions of the Absheron Peninsula were planted on a 1-hectare area.
The purpose of the event, which promotes environmental sustainability, restoration and expansion of green areas, is to focus public attention on environmental health, increasing green areas, and contributing to the fight against climate change.
