Another tree planting action was held in Mushfigabad settlement

A tree-planting action was held in Mushfigabad settlement with the participation of employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, representatives of the Public Union for the Development of Moral Values "Jigir" and eco-volunteers.

Eldar pine and olive trees were planted with the involvement of martyrs' families and children from low-income families by "Jıgır" BU, and books instilling the importance of environmental protection were presented to children.

At the same time, today the employees of the State Customs Committee also contributed to nature by planting trees, trees suitable for the soil and climate conditions of Absheron peninsula were planted in 2 hectares of Mushfigabad settlement.

The purpose of the tree planting action held within the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" is to focus the public's attention on environmental health, restoration and increase of greenery, and to contribute to nature by encouraging citizens to plant trees.
